Be swept away in a nostalgic evening on Main Street with shops of old, a whimsical train ride, a breathtaking Christmas tree lighting, and a movie premiere like no other. You and your family are sure to enjoy your time in the City of Lights at The Chapel.

Friday, Dec. 13 from 6 - 7:30pm and 7:15 - 8:45pm
Saturday, Dec. 14 from 2 - 3:30pm, 3:15 - 4:45pm,
6 - 7:30pm, and 7:15 - 8:45pm
Sunday, Dec. 15 from 3:30pm - 5pm, 4:45 - 6:15pm, and 6 - 7:30pm

Part 1

Part 1 of your "City of Lights" experience will place you in the center of downtown Buffalo, but decades earlier, in 1947. You'll pass by iconic landmarks such as City Hall, AM & A's, Shea's Theater and more. As you walk through the city streets you can see a barber shop, old fashioned cars, newsies, live band and even some snow! Between the hustle and bustle of the city noise and the tree lighting ceremony that will take place in the city square, you'll feel as though you have truly stepped back in time. There will also be plenty of activities for you and your family to take part in such as, train rides, family photos, carnival games and there will be food available as well! This first part of your experience will be 60 minutes.


Part 2

Part 2 of your "City of Lights" experience will usher you into Shea's Theater for the world premiere of "It's a Wonderful Life" (Although the premiere doesn't go quite as planned!). This part of your experience will be 30 minutes. 


Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children (aged 3-10). Children 2 and under are free.

Every ticket purchase includes Part 1 (60 minute atrium segment) and Part 2 (30 minute movie premiere).


Are the seats assigned or is it general admission?

Seating is general admission. Don't worry though, we are capping each performance so that there are plenty of seats available!


Will there be food available? 

Yes, we will have a few different food options available for you to purchase while you're here.
