- Have someone in your group give a brief recap of Sunday’s message, highlighting the primary Scripture points and the main idea of the message.
- How did this message strengthen and/or correct your previous ideas about hope found in the rainbow? Did you learn anything new about God or yourself this week?
- What thoughts come to your mind when you think of a rainbow? Do these align with God’s sign of His covenant?
- What is your response to someone who claims the rainbow as a symbol for something other than a sign of God’s covenant? How can you gently correct someone and point them towards God’s grace?
- What action step do you need to take in response to this week’s message? How can your group hold you accountable to this step?
Action Step
This week, pay attention to conversations, discussions, news articles, etc. Anytime you are grieved by culture, spend time praying for God’ grace to permeate culture and for God to use your life as a testimony to His grace.
Mobilization Challenge
Spend time serving someone in your circle of influence this week. Pray for the opportunity to serve a friend, family member, neighbor, coworker, etc. If you have the opportunity, pray with them after you’ve served them.
