Community Group leaders and hosts are the core of The Chapel and provide more influence at The Chapel than just about any other volunteer role. In our desire to put the right people in a position of leadership we have put together this application process for all those who serve in the Community Group leadership role. Please fill out the following application. If you have any questions about any part of this application or serving as a group leader or host, you may submit them at the end of this application. Responsibilities

Having spent time in prayer regarding my decision of involvement in this ministry, I choose to commit to the following:

I acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ in my life and have a personal relationship with Him.

I fully support and agree with the statement of faith set forth by The Chapel and fully support the ministries associated with The Chapel.

I agree with and commit to the Community Group Behaviors.

I am committed toward growing and maturing my relationship with God through quiet times, active church attendance, and involvement with accountability.

I am committed to an attitude, to choices and to a lifestyle that are both Godly and "above reproach" knowing that my lifestyle is a model for all Chapel members. 1 Timothy 4:12 - "set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."

I commit to creating a community group environment that is wise and stumble-free. (Creating a dry-environment, free of drugs, alcohol, and smoking).

I will faithfully attend The Chapel on Sundays and intentionally identify and greet those in my Community Group.

I will meet with the Community Group Staff at least once each year and attend the mid-quarter touchpoints and the Community Group Leader & Host training, The Training Café.

As a Community Group Leader, I choose to commit to the following:

I commit to put forth the time, emotional capacity, and moral discernment to lead a group.

I commit to encourage, guide, and challenge my community group members to grow personally in his/her relationship with Christ.

I commit to pray for the individuals in my group, faithfully attend and lead my Community Group while providing care for each individual.

I commit to oversee group discussion and prayer time, begin and end on time, as well as keep track of attendance within our group each time we meet.

I commit to be a Community Group Leader for one full year.

As a Community Group Host, I choose to commit to the following:

I commit to care for my Community Group members by following up with them and creating a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment.

I commit to sending group reminders of when we are meeting and organizing the snacks at each meeting.

I commit to be a Community Group Host for one full year.
