ON MISSION IN MAY
We are excited that SHiNE will be ON MISSION in May to collect various items that will be given to the EVERY CHILD MINISTRY and used to create FOSTER CHILD WELCOME BAGS! May is National Foster Care Month and we wanted to create an opportunity for our Middle School Students to serve others. Our students will be learning about CONFIDENCE and this provides them a chance to show the foster kids that they can have CONFIDENCE that God is always there no matter what and loves them so much! What a great opportunity for them to live out Love the Church and Love the World and make a difference in kids' lives.

Welcome To Shine!
SHiNE is the 5th-8th grade ministry of The Chapel. We exist to give every middle school student every opportunity to hear and experience the love of Jesus Christ. We do this by leading students to Love God, Love the Church and Love the World. Our programs on Sunday mornings are geared to be fun, engaging environments that give biblical truths in our messages and lasting relationships within community groups. Students can attend SHiNE at all four of our campuses.

Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT DOES SHiNE MEAN?
John 8:12 Jesus says, “I am the light of the world.” John also reminds us that “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). Jesus is the shining light in world, as at SHiNE we want to show middle school students the light of Jesus so that they can be illuminated by Him and share that light out in the world.
WHY DOES SHiNE GATHER?
We gather to give every one, every opportunity to hear and experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that high school is an important time for students to build a firm foundation in their faith. Students can hear and experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ at our Wednesday night gatherings. Our hope is that our students take what they learn at SHiNE and share it with their families, friends, and those at school.
