21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

Beginning on January 10, 2021 we are inviting our entire congregation to join together for fasting and prayer. Our hope is that everyone will commit to at least one block of time of focused prayer and that all who are physically able will commit to one block of time for fasting. You can SIGN UP for prayer and/or fasting using the link at the bottom of this page. 

Why Are We Doing This?

While prayer should always be a part of the life of a believer, it is helpful to have times of focused, intentional prayer that go beyond the normal pace of living. Though fasting is not required in order to pursue God more deeply in prayer, it is a great and helpful tool in pursuing Him with greater intensity.  

What Is Fasting?

Fasting is pushing away from the table and not eating food for a specific period of time and for a specific purpose. By setting aside the time normally used for eating, fasting creates space to pursue God with greater focus and intentionality.
