King's World Carnival

We're only a couple days away from our annual King's World Carnival, and if you don't already know, it will be taking place at our CrossPoint Campus, from 5:30-8pm, on Friday, April 22. This fun-filled night will include face painting, balloon animals, a dance party, a family photo station (please bring own camera/phone), snacks, and of course, a ton of games! All you will need to get in is tuna, rice, pasta, Ramen noodles, canned chicken, or pasta sauce to help benefit Prince Of Peace Church in Buffalo.

Here are a few things that volunteers and parents have said about the carnival:

Volunteers

"We loved seeing families enjoying quality time together! It was a blessing for our family as well to spend quality time together while serving those who attended the event!” - The Zielezinski Family

"It was so fun seeing all the kids with their families having such a good time! Even vacuuming and cleaning up at the end of the night was a joy as people were dancing and laughing and just enjoying serving together." - Tammy Prosser

"The Kings word carnival is an absolute joy! It gives you an opportunity to put a smile not just on the kids' faces, but on the faces of entire families. It is a rewarding night and a night that'd I will serve at again and again!” - Tynan Granger

"The carnival isn't something that we do for ourselves, we do it for the kids. Yet the feeling you have when you are interacting with the kids and influencing their lives by really just having fun with them makes it feel both fun and rewarding; almost as if it were for us.” - Zachary Gammel

Parents

"The Carnival that The Chapel puts on for the kids is one of our favorite events to attend each year! It is incredible to me how organized the Carnival is and how many games and events my kiddos are able to enjoy in a short amount of time, considering the popularity of the event. This is certainly due to the many volunteers who give their Friday night to give hundreds of children a fantastic experience they won't forget - and it's all for free!! We still have last year's goofy shots from our "family photo booth" on our fridge to serve as a great reminder of the fantastic time we had together!” - Danielle Macaulay

“My 3 year old daughter had a BLAST! She was excited for it for the whole week before going and she wasn't disappointed. She felt really special going to a 'big girl' event and she had lots of fun. There was a lot to do for her age, but there was also a lot for older kids too. I feel like this is something we'll be doing for years to come and we can't wait to bring our second daughter, now 2 years old this year! - Rachel Marquardt

We hope you and your family will join us this Friday!
