Family Ministry Director
The Chapel is looking to hire a full-time Family Ministry Director. The Family Ministry Director works under the supervision of the Community Team Leader and is responsible for overseeing family ministry (which includes, staff, volunteers, parents, children, students). The Family Ministry Director will be responsible for casting vision toward the future of children and middle school ministries across all campuses, partner with parents to include creating spaces and environments for parent connection, investment into parents and family community groups, and equipping parents in discipling their children.
This position requires an individual with:
Minimum of five (5) years proven ministry coordination experience in a church environment or equivalent experience, with an emphasis on leadership, relational and organizational skills.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in religious studies, ministry, business, communications, related field or equivalent experience.
Strong organizational and managerial skills to coordinate and manage staff, students and families. Must be able to relate to parents and their fears, needs, and offer comfort and support.
Leadership and people skills to train/equip and inspire/encourage. Ability to work well with a diverse group of people, including children and parents.
Proven faithfulness to Christ in use of time, talent and treasures; meets all biblical requirements of a leader and influencer within the church body.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Well-developed verbal communication skills. Ability to influence and lead in team environments as well as address and resolve conflict where appropriate.
