IT Support Technician
The IT Support Technician will handle technical support inquiries for all ministry personnel at all campus facilities, providing support for workstation issues, phone, printer and network resource connectivity. Network Administration tasks include managing servers in a virtualized environment and maintaining/upgrading network infrastructure devices and physical infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for keeping inventory, and helping with hardware and software deployment across the organization. They will also assist with systems documentation and end-user training when rolling out new technologies or enhancing use of current tools.
The Chapel employs an Active Directory network with Windows 10 and Apple Mac OS X clients. The IT Support Technician will report to the Director of Information Technology. The structure of our work environment allows you to be proactive and take on new and exciting projects that can benefit the ministry, in addition to completing assigned projects.
Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or 1 year experience in an IT position required. Experience with most recent versions of Windows and Mac OS workstation and server operating systems. Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office. Hardware and software troubleshooting support experience preferred. Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as work independently, and have good communication and organizational skills. It's also important that candidates fit in well with the culture of the organization and agree with our mission.
