Discussion Questions

1. What do you think was troubling the disciples the most,what tends to trouble your own heart, and what does it look like to actively trust Jesus in that area? 

2. How would living with eternity in view change your daily perspective? 

3. Peter was warned by Jesus right before denying him, what does this teach us about grace, and how does this encourage believers who struggle with failure? 

4. How should the truth found in John 14:6 shape the way we talk about and share Jesus with others?

5. Jesus says “ anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” what does this statement teach us about God’s character and how can this shape our posture in prayer, dependence, and obedience? 

Action Step

1. Bring your trouble to Jesus first, when anxiety rises pray out loud John 14:1 and ask the lord to guide you to choose belief over fear

2. Live like heaven in real! Make one decision this week with eternity in mind instead of comfort or convenience

3. Share Jesus by first praying for one person you know that doesn't yet have a relationship with Jesus and look for an opportunity to speak about Him.
