Community Group Study Notes
1. Have someone in your group give a summary of Sunday’s message and have every member of your group share 1 or 2 things that stuck out to them.
2. Read Mark 15:42-16:8. Share your observations with one another. What stands out to you from this passage?
3. Read Mark 16:6-7. Why is it significant that Peter is focused on by the angel? How can this give us hope in our lives?
4. Is there a trial or struggle with sin that has seemed too heavy for you to lift? Share this with your group and take time to pray for one another.
5. How does the reality of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead give you confidence and hope as you follow Him? After answering this question, take some time to close in prayer and thank the Lord that He is alive.
Action Step
Set aside time this week to pray for every member in your community group. Pray for any needs they share in your group time, but also be intentional and ask them what you can pray for.
