What does The Potter's Hands do?
The Potter’s Hands is a ministry specifically centered around meeting the tangible needs of families in Western New York. With our warehouse of gently used furniture and household items, Potter’s Hands helps those that need it most. To do this, we partner with local agencies and churches all over our region. Our desire is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by loving and assisting our neighbors.
How Can I Get Help?
Potter's Hands understands that many families in our community are facing difficult life circumstances. It is Potter's Hands ministry to assist men, women, and children to meet their basic household needs. In order to receive assistance from The Potter's Hands, we ask that you work with your local church or community agency to do one of the following:
- If you are currently working with a community agency, have your caseworker submit a Household Needs Request application on your behalf, (see below link) or call 716-222-0791 with any questions.
OR
- If you are attending a local church, ask the church leader, or church representative, to submit a Household Needs Request application on your behalf, (see below link) or call 716-222-0791 with any questions.

Unfortunately, The Potter's Hands Household Needs Requests are temporarily on hold as we work through a large backlog of requests. Please check back with us in several weeks when we hope to be able to accept new requests.
If you do not attend a local church, please send a message to Potter's Hands or call 716-222-0791 and we will help you find a church near you.
