What Does the Potter's Hands Do?

The Potter's Hands is a ministry of The Chapel specifically centered around meeting the tangible needs of families in WNY. Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by shining Christ's love and compassion on our community.

Donate Furniture

We thank you for your generosity and heart for service. By donating your gently used furniture, you help us share Christ’s love and bring dignity and hope to families in need. Because many of the families we serve live in smaller apartments, we are unable to accept larger items such as armoires, entertainment centers, sectional sofas, large buffets, or king-size beds.

Before completing this form, please review Items We Accept and Items We Cannot Accept. You will be asked to acknowledge that you have reviewed this information before submitting the form.

While we do not charge for pickups, we gratefully accept financial contributions to help offset our operational expenses.

Volunteer

Volunteers—both individuals and groups—are the foundation of The Potter’s Hands. We offer several opportunities to serve, including donation pickups, furniture deliveries, and warehouse support.

Donation Pickups & Furniture Deliveries:
Volunteers must be able to lift items weighing approximately 20–100 pounds and be willing to pray with families and share the Gospel.

Warehouse Volunteers:
No lifting is required. Volunteers should be willing to pray with families and share the hope of Jesus

We invite you to join our team as we serve together, build relationships, and make a lasting difference.

If volunteering isn’t possible right now, your generosity can still make a difference. Through financial giving, you help us share the Gospel and support families in living with dignity. You may give a one-time donation or join our sustaining members through recurring contributions.
