Pastor Daryl Largis
It is with both deep sadness and profound joy that we announce the departure of Pastor Daryl Largis to be with Jesus. Our sadness is felt deeply on this side of eternity as we say a temporary good-bye to a man of God who was used as a Kingdom ambassador in so many lives and places. But we also have an abiding and profound joy that Daryl is in the presence of His Savior, King, and chief affection - the Lord Jesus.
A public visitation has been scheduled for the Largis family on Monday, June 6, from 4-7pm in the atrium of our CrossPoint Campus. The celebration of life service for Pastor Daryl will be on Tuesday, June 7, at 10:30am in the Worship Center of our CrossPoint Campus. In lieu of flowers, Pastor Daryl has asked that you invest in kingdom-enriching ministries he founded or helped to create; namely, Renovation University (training the next generation of pastors and leaders), the Sierra Leone Alliance (a cohort of ministries holistically impacting education, healthcare, business, clean water, and orphans nation- wide), and Global Values (a business consulting platform that enables leaders to grow deeper, lead better, and reach higher while also providing a funding stream for global mission work). Checks can be made payable to "The Chapel" and should be denoted as "Daryl Largis Legacy gift".
If you missed the celebration of life service, you can watch it here.
We would ask you to continue to pray for the reality of God’s grace to be experienced by Carla, Olivia, and Abigail.
"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him".
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 NIV)
