Discussion Topics and Questions
- Have someone in your group give a brief recap of Sunday’s message, highlighting the primary Scripture points and the main idea of the message.
- How did this message strengthen and/or correct your previous ideas about making disciples? Was there anything you heard for the first time or that caught your attention, challenged, or confused you?
- Who did God use to bring you to faith in Christ? Who has discipled you into greater obedience to Christ?
- Where can you grow discouraged when being a disciple-maker? What from the sermon can help encourage you when you face discouragement?
- Has God used you in having someone profess faith in Jesus or obey the way of Jesus? If so, when?
- Where can you be more intentional in being a disciple-maker (e.g., home, neighborhood, place of employment, places of leisure, etc.)? Who in your life would be blessed by you being more intentional with your role as a disciple-maker?
Action Step
- Pray that the body of Christ would embrace their role as disciple-makers within their spheres of influence.
- Be more intentional as a disciple-maker with at least one person.
