- Have someone in your group give a brief recap of Sunday’s message, highlighting the primary Scripture points and the main idea of the message.
- How did this message strengthen and/or correct your previous ideas about the implications of being a part of the body of Christ? Was there anything you heard for the first time or that caught your attention, challenged, or confused you?
- What do you enjoy about serving alongside other disciples of Jesus?
- How has God used you to meet the needs of another disciple or someone within your sphere of influence?
- How has God blessed your life as you served Him in sharing the gospel?
- What can make it easy for you to drift into a mainly consumer posture with your faith?
- When you have started to drift into consumerism with your faith (or been tempted to drift), what has helped you reengage as a contributing part to the body of Christ?
- Where may God be asking you to increase your engagement as a member of the body of Christ (e.g., use of your time, use of your spiritual gifts, with the people within your sphere of influence, and when gathering together with other believers)?
